Kriteria Pemilihan Tapak Pada Perancangan Wisata Industri Olahan Hasil Laut di Kabupaten Sidoarjo

Sidoarjo Regency is known to have abundant marine products, with abundant marine products being used by the local community into various processed products. However, this potential has not been fully utilized to be better known by the wider community. The utilization of this potential can be integrated with the tourism sector to become an attraction and have its own distinctive value. This study aims to formulate the optimal site selection criteria for the design of marine processed industry tourism in Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used is quantitative research, by conducting location surveys and comparative studies to find out the state or condition of the site based on existing facts. The results of this study show that the main criteria in site selection include proximity to raw material sources, environmental utility conditions, supporting infrastructure, and the uniqueness of the site location as an attraction. With this criterion, it is hoped to create a positive impact on the environment and create a sense of comfort for tourist visitors. This research is expected to be the basis for strategic tourism design and proper site selection.
